DESCRIPTION

Damned "Conserved" on an anonymous Mezzacorsa frame from 1940, probably of Piedmontese origin. The main construction feature of this bike is defined by the so-called "Basin" welding, a typically Piedmontese technique that consists of connecting the tubes together not through welded joints, but directly tube-to-tube with brass welding. Very fine details such as the fork head, the saddle node, the rear dropouts. Bike with tones that do not contrast with each other, the gray of the original paint in balance with the color of the tires and the dark elements such as the saddle and handlebars + grips.

TECHNICAL ELEMENTS

Original frame + fork, with headset, bottom bracket group and seat post screw. Damned the "Flat" stem + bend handlebar, with black cord grips, the Brooks B17 black saddle, the two-piece 42-tooth crankset, oxidized 28" steel sport rims for 700x35c cream-colored tires.
