DESCRIPTION

Dannata "Conserved" on an anonymous Piedmontese frame from the 1940s. The workmanship of the fork head, the knot under the saddle and the seamless welds of the head tube, bottom bracket shell and knot under the saddle, suggest a frame of Piedmontese origin. The rear dropouts typically racing from the 1930s, but with an unusually little pronounced forward projection, suggest a frame that is not purely racing, more likely a high-performance sport. Very well preserved paintwork in a very hopeful, almost bold, green, a bold green. A quality frame for a high-end Dannata, but at a special price for an aesthetic defect on the horizontal tube, due to a possible frontal crushing (more photos available to clarify). A defect that absolutely does not affect the ride in the slightest, on the contrary it increases the symbolic value of a historic bike that has been through a lot.

Damn everything else: the two-piece handlebar (or alternative) with black cord grips (or alternative), the 42-tooth crankset, the chromed steel sport rims, the damned seat post and touring pedals. The 700x38c cream-colored tires (or alternative) and the single-speed coaster hub braking system (or alternative) round out the package.
