DESCRIPTION

Damned "Conservata" on a 1930s Mezzacorsa frame built for Cocchi (Parma) by Emilio Garlatti, a frame builder from the Veneto region, but a native of Parma (here in 1930 he founded IVES and his sons Wander).
Racing, Mezzacorsa and sport bicycles were equivalent in terms of features and construction materials, but differed in the components with which they were fitted (this defines the great quality of the past). Red paint and chrome-plating of the headset, fork crown and front/rear dropouts and portions of the vertical tube define the characteristics on which the Dannata aesthetic of this recovery is based. The cream-colored tires and the fabric grips of the racing handlebars, together with a dark-colored saddle, delicately accompany the aforementioned characteristics.

TECHNICAL ELEMENTS

Original frame and fork, headset and bottom bracket group. Non-original are the 1930s steel racing handlebars with ecru fabric grips + handlebar, the anonymous 1940s sport crankset, the oxidized 28" sport seat tube and rims. A vintage Brooks b17 saddle and cream-colored 700x35c tires complete the package.
